Adopt An Artifact: IRON BILBOES LEVEL While first searching for the Atocha, the Fisher team stumbled on a ship wreck that would later prove to be the oldest recovered slave ship to have sunk while engaged in the slave trade, the Henrietta Marie. Almost 100 pairs of shackles or bilboes were found on board, a chilling reminder of this ship's purpose.
